Season OneEdit

The Grief of AcceptanceEdit

Hinton first appears in this episode when the Warblers happen to run into the New Directions. He watches as Jack and Drew get into a fight and doesn't say a word the entire time.

Live to CompeteEdit

Hinton performs as a background vocalist in Never Gonna Give You Up and a main vocalist in The Warblers' second performance Barracuda. After they finished he looks at the New Directions confused as they gave The Warblers a standing ovation, he then smiles. When Jack tells him that the New Directions are the enemy Hinton tell him they're obviously not. He is last seen starting the ovation after the New Directions' setlist.

Hinton appears in Silence at Dalton Academy where Danny visits to challenge the Warblers to a duel of song. When Jack begins to verbally abuse Danny, Hinton defends him. Danny leaves and a glance and wink is shared between the two. Hinton is then seen again peforming Rock God/Sick of You/Live Like (There's No Tomorrow) with the Warblers and some members of the New Directions. Hinton is later seen in a local park with Danny, lying under the stars. Hinton and Danny share an intimate encounter, involving kissing, and by the end of their encounter, the two are boyfriends. He isn't seen again for the remainder of the episode.

Hinton is very sweet to those that treat him right but when crossed he brings out the total bitch he really is. Hinton grew up quite lonely and never had any friends until going to Dalton so he's very shy and doesn't like to talk to strangers very much. The only time Hinton is confident is when he is performing because his voice is the only thing he's secure about.

Notable RelationshipsEdit

Danny GallacherEdit

Their relationship is first hinted at in Silence when Danny winks at Hinton after inviting Dalton Academy Warblers to McKinley for a mash-off. It is confirmed later in the episode when they are laying in the park together. Danny tells Hinton he loves him. The two kiss passionately, until Hinton pulls away and asks if they were now dating, which Danny says they are.
